JFC is a Bible-based church with a passion for reaching our community with the love of Christ.  We are a part of the Church of God of Cleveland, TN and have been in the Valley since 1951.   Our desire is to be Christ-centered and see the gifts of the Spirit active in us as they are seen in the New Testament church.

Our worship is contemporary with some traditional songs occasionally mixed in.  It is our desire to worship the Lord with all our heart and lead others to do the same.  This can involve singing, dancing, raising and clapping our hands, and more.  We encourage you to worship the Lord as He leads without pushing a set idea of style.

The dress is varied from Suits and Dresses to jeans and t-shirts.  We encourage you to just come however you can.

Hans Weston graduated from Lee College in 1993 and spent 17 years as a associate pastor primarily in student and worship ministry.  He has been married to Angela since 2002 and they have 3 kids, Hannah, Gabriel, & Abigail.  They have been foster parents for the past 6 years and their long-term foster daughter Victoria is still living with them.
In September of 2010, Hans & the family moved to Grand Junction to take on the Lead Pastor position here at JFC.  He has a heart for people and leading them to follow Jesus' Way.
